Part-time Board member
George P.L. Filliter received an LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 1978. He has practised law since then, specializing in labour and employment law, administrative law and general litigation. In 1985 he obtained a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics. In private practice he has represented both labour and management and has served as a third-party arbitrator. He was appointed as Chair of the Labour and Employment Board of New Brunswick in March 2003. He also lectures at the University of New Brunswick.
