Part-time Board member
Paul E. Love is a lawyer who arbitrates and mediates labour and employment issues.
Mr. Love holds a B.Sc (Hons.) in Geography and Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Laws degree, both from the University of Victoria. Called to the B.C. Bar in 1985, Mr. Love is also a chartered arbitrator and a fellow, panel member and arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the United Kingdom. A panel member for the B.C. International Commercial Arbitration Centre, he has a certificate in Advanced Commercial Mediation from the B.C. Continuing Legal Education Society and has been providing mediation services since 1993. He is listed with the B.C. Collective Agreement Arbitration Bureau for arbitral appointments under the Labour Relations Code and with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service for arbitral and adjudicative appointments under the Canada Labour Code.
Mr. Love was a part-time member of the Public Service Labour Relations Board from 2004 to 2007. He was subsequently reappointed as a part-time Board member on November 5, 2009 for a period of five years.
