Part-time Board Member
Mr. William H. Kydd, Q.C., is a practicing lawyer with more than 30 years experience in the areas of civil litigation, administrative law and arbitration and mediation. A practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and the Canadian Bar Association, Mr. Kydd is a chartered member of the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Canada. He has been appointed as a consensual chair for over 250 arbitration boards and has chaired arbitrations in all of the Atlantic Provinces involving a wide spectrum of disputes. His mediation experience has touched on a broad range of issues, including labour relations.
Mr. Kydd was appointed as a part-time Board member on May 14, 2010 for a period of five years.
