Advisory Board on Compensation Analysis and Research

The Public Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA) provides for the establisment of an Advisory Board to advise the Chairperson on the compensation analysis and research services provided by the Public Service Labour Relations Board (PSLRB). Its role is to deliberate on related strategic issues in support of collective bargaining and the compensation determination processes in the federal public service and to make relevant recommendations to the Chairperson of the PSLRB. The Advisory Board also provides a forum for the PSRLB to consult and exchange information with the parties under the PSLRA. (See Terms of Reference).

The mandate of the first Advisory Board came to an end in November 2007. See list of the former Advisory Board Members.

At the end of its mandate, the Advisory Board presented a report to the Chairperson of the PSLRB, providing comments and suggestions on a number of issues. (See Report to the Chairperson of the Public Service Labour relations Board).

Members of the new Advisory Board have not yet been named.
