Termination (disciplinary) – Abandonment of grievance – Withdrawal
The grievor grieved the termination of his employment – in advance of the adjudication hearing, he gave notice that he would not attend the hearing because the adjudicator had denied another grievance that the grievor had filed – he was advised that he could ask the adjudicator to recuse himself at the beginning of the hearing and that it could proceed without him if he did not attend – the grievor did not attend the hearing – the hearing was adjourned to contact the grievor, who confirmed that he would not attend – the adjudicator found that the grievor has abandoned or withdrawn his grievance.
Grievance denied.
