Before: Renaud Paquet
Decision Rendered: December 22, 2009
Original Language: English
Grievances – Harassment – Wrongful use of email system – Alleged insubordination – Aggressive behaviour – Leave without pay pending finding employment elsewhere in public service

The grievor referred five grievances to adjudication – the adjudicator allowed the first grievance since the grievor was disciplined for harassment that had occurred several years before, contrary to the employer’s harassment policy – the disciplinary grievances relating to the grievor’s behaviour were denied – finally, the adjudicator ruled that he did not have jurisdiction over the fifth grievance, which concerned an administrative and not a disciplinary measure.

One grievance allowed.

Four grievances denied.
