The grievor worked as a veterinarian – after collapsing at work, he was accommodated in several different employment situations – at one point, no accommodated duties were available, so he went on annual leave – he also had to take sick leave after being accommodated in a workplace that did not suit him – he grieved that the employer did not properly accommodate him and that he had been discriminated against because of his disability and his ethnic origin – the adjudicator ruled that the employer acted in good faith, and that it sought to accommodate the grievor to the greatest extent based on the available medical information – the adjudicator found that there was no evidence to support the allegations of discrimination based on ethnic origin.
Grievances denied.
