The grievor was suspended after an off-duty incident involving alleged criminal behaviour – after investigating the matter, the employer revoked the grievor’s reliability status – the employer objected that the adjudicator could not take jurisdiction, since the measures taken were administrative in nature – the grievor alleged that the measures were disciplinary, and moreover, that they were taken in bad faith – the adjudicator ruled that the measures were administrative and that she did not have jurisdiction over the grievances.
Objection allowed.
Grievances dismissed.
