Termination (disciplinary) - Fraud - Grievor defrauded UIC of $93,000. - the grievor, an agent at an unemployment insurance office, obtained at least $93,000. from fraudulently established claims - he was convicted of a criminal offence pursuant to the Criminal Code - the grievor did not appear at the adjudication hearing for medical reasons but was nonetheless represented - his representative filed a report of a psychiatrist alluding to the grievor's state - the adjudicator found that there was insufficient evidence of mitigating circumstances to interfere with the penalty imposed.
